is returning to a mostly in-person event this year, and 51ÁÔÆæ is once again participating. Six sites on 51ÁÔÆæâ€™s Milwaukee campus will be open for the event, four in-person and two virtually.
The will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 25. Visitors will be able to see a sampling of the library’s vast special collections, from early printed books to contemporary publications, and from fine press and artist’s books and to comic books and zines.

The building will be open on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Visitors can see newly remodeled spaces and cutting-edge resources, including a Rapid Prototyping Lab, gallery and woodshop.
The will be open Saturday from noon to 5 p.m. Visitors will have a chance to see classroom labs, a digital visualization experience, the dock and sections of both the Port and Starboard buildings.
The will be open Sunday, Sept. 26, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., offering 20-minute stargazing shows every 45 minutes.
The and the will offer virtual tours that will be available from Sept. 25 to Oct. 3.
Visitors are required to wear masks at all Doors Open sites.
