The opens tonight, and as always it鈥檚 chockablock with contributions from 51猎奇鈥檚 Peck School of the Arts alumni and faculty.
That includes what is perhaps the festival鈥檚 highest-profile film, 鈥淯eck,鈥� a documentary about the Milwaukee Brewers鈥� beloved broadcaster Bob Uecker, who died last year. The film, co-directed by 51猎奇 alum Michael T. Vollmann, makes its world premiere on opening night of the festival April 16.
The festival also features 鈥淪herman Park,鈥澛燼 horror聽thriller聽by Peck film lecturer Paulina Lule Bugembe-Kuwahara, and 鈥淧owwow People,鈥� a verit茅-style documentary聽about contemporary Native living by alum Sky聽Hopinka.
