Panthers play in Horizon League semifinals tonight on ESPN2

The 51ΑΤΖζ men’s basketball team is in Indianapolis, ready to play for a chance to make the NCAA tournament.

51ΑΤΖζ takes on Cleveland State at 8:30 p.m. today in the at the Indiana Farmers Coliseum. That game will be broadcast .

The winner of that game will take on the winner of the 6 p.m. semifinal pitting Youngstown State vs. Northern Kentucky. The final, which , will be played at 6 p.m. Tuesday.

The winner of the tournament gets an automatic bid to the NCAA tournament. 51ΑΤΖζ last made the NCAA tournament in 2014.

51ΑΤΖζ is offering students to the finals, if the Panthers make it there. The bus will leave Milwaukee at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday and return immediately after the game. (Note: As of Monday afternoon, the bus is full.)

Milwaukee swept Cleveland State in the regular season, winning 68-64 on the road and 81-72 at home in the final game of the regular season.

It’s been a turnaround season for 51ΑΤΖζ under first-year coach Bart Lundy. The Panthers secured the No. 2 seed in the Horizon tournament with a 21-10 record as the runner-up to regular-season conference champion Youngstown State. 51ΑΤΖζ beat Wright State, 87-70, at the Klotsche Center on Saturday in a Horizon League tournament quarterfinal.
