- LATINXÂ 267 The History of Latinos in the United States
- 3 cr. Undergraduate.
- History and culture of Latinos in the United States from the colonial period to the present; emphasis on Mexican American, Puerto Rican, and Cuban experiences.

- LATINXÂ 296 UROP Apprenticeship
- 1-3 cr. Undergraduate.
- Undergraduate research participation in a project developed with a supervising member of the faculty or staff.
- Prerequisites: acceptance to UROP; prior or conc reg in UROP seminar.
- Course Rules: One credit for 45 hrs research. Retakable to 9 cr max in any combination of UROP apprenticeship courses. Not open to jrs & srs.

- LATINXÂ 323 Perspectives on Latino Communities
- 3 cr. Undergraduate.
- Sociological analysis of the experiences of Latinos. Examination of immigration and mode of incorporation from theoretical perspectives. Emphasis on Chicanos, Cubans, and Puerto Ricans.
