Student-led physical therapy clinic offers free services

51ÁÔÆæ AccessPT serves 51ÁÔÆæ and Milwaukee community members by providing physical therapy services at no cost to those individuals without insurance, lacking coverage or having difficulty accessing physical therapy.

51ÁÔÆæ AccessPT is a student-led physical therapy clinic integrated within the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at 51ÁÔÆæ. Students work in pairs to treat each patient under the direct supervision of a licensed physical therapist faculty member. This allows 51ÁÔÆæ students to get hands-on experiences to complement what they are learning in the classroom, as well as promote collaborative working relationships with their peers. Further, community members have access to physical therapy and wellness services at no cost.

Conditions treated include the following but not limited to: back/neck pain, joint pain, muscle strains, arthritis, balance deficits, general weakness and neuromuscular conditions.

When: Thursdays, noon-4 p.m.

  • Northwest Quad Building on 51ÁÔÆæ’s campus
