Identifying how much money your student organization has, and learning how to access those funds is really important.
- Know what accounts you have:
- SAC (Student Appropriations Committee) is the primary source of funding for all student orgs.
- Grant Requests are made early in the prior semester for the next semester. at the beginning of each semester.
- UW Credit Union Account is set up for all official 51ÁÔÆæ student orgs through SAC.
- Other accounts may exist, contact your student organization advisor or Steven Anderson.

- Wisconsin Space Grant Consortium (WSCG NASA)
- NASA’s representation in Wisconsin, responsible for distributing roughly $800,000 per year for educational initiatives spanning K-12, graduate studies, university research, faculty programs and support for student activities.
- 51ÁÔÆæ is a member institution so students can directly apply for fellowships (typically $3,000-$5,000/year; must be U.S. citizens).Faculty can apply for research funding.

- The Kulwicki Garage can be reserved on Outlook. Enter the Kulwicki Garage as the location for the meeting. You will receive a confirmation after the event is scheduled.
- Other EMS Rooms (ie: E250, E280 back rooms, conference rooms, classrooms)- contact your student organization advisor or Steven Anderson
- Outside food and beverage can be used for events at EMS. You are responsible for setup and cleanup afterwards for all events held inside EMS.
- Contact 20/20 Catering for food and beverages either inside or outside the 51ÁÔÆæ Student Union.
- Event Publicity
- The CEAS website has a student organization page that describes each of the student organizations, and incudes student and advisor contact info. Contact Steven Anderson with updates.
- Student Announcements. Email Jennie Klumpp with details, including a full description, a call to action (what do you want them to do?) and an image or attachment that may be helpful. No flyers please.
- Hang a poster in the EMS building. You are responsible for design, printing, posting and removal of your posters.
- EMS lobby display monitor can be used to promote upcoming events. Slides must be a png file that is 1920 x 1080 pixels. Send file to Lisa McGovern at least seven days before you want the slide to run and include the specific dates you want it to be live.

You are responsible for creating your own posters, flyers, digital screens etc. Here are some free resources for design:
- Canva, free and easy to use online design software
- Adobe Express for students
All printing for student organizations using segregated university fees will be done in Union Marketing (WG50). No other form of printing or binding order is authorized. Persons will be individually liable for any purchases not made through the prescribed procedures. Please see Union Marketing for student organization pricing and a full list of services.

Print and Copy Services provides free EdTech-funded large format poster printing for students for class assignments & research projects. This is the only service that is provided to students free of charge. The following guidelines must be adhered to when submitting a project for printing:
- An authorization form, located on the Web site must be filled out, signed by your instructor or advisor and submitted with your electronic file and an 8.5×11 color laser printout, to Print and Copy Services.
- EdTech funded large format printouts are limited to one printout per student per project (24 square feet maximum).
- Allow 3 business days’ turnaround time. The service is not available on weekends.
