Our mission at the 51ÁÔÆæ College of Engineering & Applied Science is to educate students to become creative problem solvers, conduct leading-edge research with global impacts, and act as a catalyst for improved economic development and quality of life in Wisconsin.
As such we actively work with a wide range of constituents from K-12 students, college students, corporations, research foundations and community partners. There are multiple opportunities for sponsorship and partnership with our college depending on your goals and objectives.
Support our students:
Career Fairs
Sponsor a booth to meet our students and your prospective employees at our engineering and computer science-related career fairs in the spring and fall. Businesses may also include a social media package with their sponsorship or sponsor the LinkedIn Photo Booth. See our Career Services page or contact Juli Pickering for more details.
Internships and Co-ops
Provide an internship (typically part-time during the academic year and full-time during the summer) or a co-op (typically a commitment of at least three terms that include academic credit). See our Career Services page or contact Juli Pickering for more information.
Fall Welcome Fest
Sponsor our college’s back-to-school celebration in the fall for all students, staff, and faculty. Contact Michelle Boehm for more details.
Product Realization Course
Industry sponsors pay a fee to cover expenses and provide engineering personnel for the Product Realization Course, a regular course offering to mentor a student project team. The multidisciplinary approach has real benefit. The course is co-taught by an engineering professor and an art professor. Students form interdisciplinary teams of engineers, artists and designers then review the company’s product brief, determine a budget and timeline, then design and build the prototype.
