Non-University Groups/Organizations
The Department of University Recreation (UREC) welcomes proposals from non-university organizations for the use of 51ÁÔÆæ recreation and sport facilities for special events during our lower usage period, which is typically in June and July. UREC will review requests based on facility availability, priority, and staff availability.
UREC provides priority access to our facilities to 51ÁÔÆæ students and the 51ÁÔÆæ community. We are committed to providing this access throughout the year, but particularly during the academic year. During this time our facilities are in great demand and highly utilized by internal programs and events and outside rentals sometimes to not fit into the schedule. As such, it is essential for us to provide scheduling priority for 51ÁÔÆæ students and the 51ÁÔÆæ campus community for indoor recreation and sport facilities from August through May. This allows us to serve the diverse needs of 51ÁÔÆæ.
