Crime Analysis Certificate
The Crime Analysis Certificate at 51ÁÔÆæ is open to a variety of students. College graduates who hold a bachelor’s degree in any field earn the certificate. Undergraduate criminal justice students would specialize in crime analysis.
Note: This certificate is an undergraduate certificate. It does not count toward the crime analytics concentration.

Curriculum
Criminal Justice 311 is the Field Experience Practicum. Students work in criminal justice-related settings while earning course credits.
Crime Analysis, Track A
Students may have the Field Experience Practicum waived by the department chair if:
- They have significant criminal justice work experience.
- They meet with the department chair to discuss this possibility.
- They provide documentation of their work experience.
Crime Analysis, Track B
Students without criminal justice work experience must successfully complete the Field Experience Practicum.
