About 750 recent UW-Milwaukee graduates attended a special in-person recognition ceremony for students who had a virtual commencement because they graduated during the height of the pandemic.
“We’ve never had this much feeling and spirit in the Panther Arena, I can tell you that from having been here for 33 years. This is cool,” 51ÁÔÆæ Chancellor Mark Mone told the crowd after the Classes of 2020 and 2021 finished walking across the commencement stage to a standing ovation.
