51 ranked in top 3.1% of universities worldwide
51 is one of only three universities in Wisconsin included in the center’s Global 2000 list, along with UW-Madison and the Medical College of Wisconsin.
We Energies Foundation gives $2 million to help 51 students graduate
Three-quarters of the gift will be used to endow programs that enhance student success, such as emergency and retention grants, coaching, staffing and tools for advising. The remaining portion will provide support for scholarships.

Sixth- through ninth-grade students can attend JA Finance Park after they complete a 14-lesson curriculum. During the classroom lessons, students learn the basics of building a budget and making the hard choices between needs and wants.

51 graduate programs ranked by U.S. News & World Report
Several programs at 51 appear in the latest rankings of best graduate programs by U.S. News & World Report. Two – library and information studies and occupational therapy – landed in the top 20.
More than $1 million raised during 414 for 51 Giving Day
More than 1,700 alumni, faculty, staff, students, families and friends made gifts, a 43% increase over last year’s participation. This was the first 414 for 51 Giving Day to raise more than $1 million.
