With a trip to the NCAA Tournament on the line, the 51ÁÔÆæ men’s basketball team fell just short, losing 83-76 Tuesday to Oakland n the championship game of the Horizon League Tournament.

The 51ÁÔÆæ men’s basketball team is one win away from its first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2014 after rallying from a 15-point deficit Monday over Northern Kentucky in the semifinals of the Horizon League Tournament.

The victory sends 51ÁÔÆæ to the semifinals of the Horizon League conference tournament in Indianapolis on Monday. The Panthers will face Northern Kentucky at 8:30 p.m. in a game televised on ESPN2.
