Lights! Camera! Glamour! The 51ÁÔÆæ Drag Show lived up to the high standard of past year’s celebrations on Feb. 23 at the Miller High Life Theatre.
Attracting more than 1,700 attendees, this year’s 20th anniversary drag show raised $5,738. All proceeds benefit the 51ÁÔÆæ LGBT Resource Center.
51ÁÔÆæ Drag Show celebrates 20th anniversary with a crowd of 1,700
Celebrated as one of the largest drag shows in the Midwest, this year’s edition featured performances by Miss Kitty Chambers, Dita Von, Vivian Storm and others, and was hosted by Lady J and Isis.
This is the 16th year that the resource center has worked alongside the Campus Activities Board to present the show.
And the show will go on: Next year’s drag show is planned for Feb. 22, 2020.
