A two-year, $40 million renovation and update to the 51ÁÔÆæ Student Union is nearing completion, just in time for the start of the 2023-24 school year.
The freshened union sports much more natural light and improved aesthetics throughout, highlighted by a new glass canopy that brings in sunlight to the atrium at the main entrance. New furniture and common areas invite members of the 51ÁÔÆæ community to gather for studying or socializing, fostering greater collaboration.
A new overlook area above the Kenwood Boulevard entrance offers great views of the city and Lake Michigan.
