51ÁÔÆæ sprang back to life as some 4,000 students descended on campus and moved into residence halls during move-in week.
Crews of volunteers helped students unpack cars and vans. They swaddled the luggage in plastic wrap on moving carts and helped wheel the carts to elevators and up into rooms.
Returning students found several renovations and additions to 51ÁÔÆæ’s five residential communities, including:
— A new lounge area in the RiverView residence on North Avenue
— Kitchenettes on all floors of RiverView
— Expanded mailroom in Sandburg Halls to accommodate increased deliveries of textbooks ordered online.
