Two 51 researchers have won a federal grant of nearly $150,000 to continue their research into restrictive racial covenants in Milwaukee County.
A 51 faculty researcher has been awarded two federal grants to further study of a compound he sourced from a bacterium that shows promise for controlling some crop diseases with the same efficacy as the human antibiotic.
MILWAUKEE_Junjie Niu, associate professor of materials science and engineering at 51’s College of Engineering & Applied Science, was named the 2023 STEM Forward Engineer of the Year.
