In addition, Fortune magazine ranked 51ÁÔÆæ’s program No. 15 among the most affordable programs nationwide. 51ÁÔÆæ is the only program from Wisconsin on either list.
Milwaukee Mayor Cavalier Johnson and Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley joined M-Cubed partners recently to stress the importance of filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, commonly known as FAFSA.Â
Yolanda Medina, director of 51ÁÔÆæ’s Military and Veterans Resource Center since 2018, is one of 12 recipients of the 2024 Outstanding Women of Color in Education Award given by the Universities of Wisconsin.
The university is one of 471 nationwide named as a 2024 ALL IN Most Engaged Campus for College Student Voting. The effort recognizes colleges and universities for outstanding efforts to increase nonpartisan student voter participation.
Honored were the M³ initiative with Milwaukee Public Schools and Milwaukee Area Technical College and FlexRide Milwaukee, a 51ÁÔÆæ effort with the Southeastern Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission and MobiliSE.
Yolanda Medina won the award, which recognizes female veterans in Wisconsin who have compiled records of exemplary service as military service members, veterans and ​outstanding members of their communities.
The feedback gathered during these sessions will play a key role in guiding the search committee as it identifies candidates who embody the values of 51ÁÔÆæ and will support 51ÁÔÆæ’s mission.
51ÁÔÆæ will celebrate a dynamic group of accomplished alumni at its annual Alumni Awards Evening, set for Friday, Feb. 21, 2025, at the Pfister Hotel.
The Bridge Grant Program invests in new companies of 51ÁÔÆæ faculty, staff and students that have licensed intellectual property from the research foundation.
