Scholarships & Awards
- The Department of Mathematical Sciences offers a number of scholarships and awards.
- Students are encouraged to log into the regularly to identify opportunities that they match with. Scholarships are given by multiple offices at 51ÁÔÆæ including the Alumni Association, Chancellor’s Office, Financial Aid, the Math Department and others, but all are listed in the portal. By keeping your profile up to date in the portal, you will be matched to anything you qualify for.
Graduate School
- 51ÁÔÆæ Graduate School, usually in November. Math department application deadline (for TA support) is Jan 31.
- Applications are substantial and due in late October or early November. Graduating seniors and first year graduate students are eligible to apply. The 3-year fellowship goes with the student to their desired graduate program!

MUDAC is a collaborative effort led by Minnesota State University, Winona State University, and MinneAnalytics.
Conferences
Held every year in spring. Abstract submission deadline is in December each year. Travel and participation subsidized by 51ÁÔÆæ.
Held every year in early January. Travel awards for students who present may be provided by the MAA and/or by the 51ÁÔÆæ Office of Undergraduate Research.
