The Institutional Review Board (IRB) reviews all human subjects research conducted by 51ÁÔÆæ faculty, staff, and students. It makes decisions based on the ethical principles in the Belmont Report and Declaration of Helsinki, as well as ensuring that research complies with the Code of Federal Regulations, Wisconsin State Laws, and 51ÁÔÆæ Policies.
The IRB is made up of 51ÁÔÆæ faculty, staff, students, and community representatives. IRB Office staff support the IRB.
