Classification Web Plus (ClassWeb Plus)

The Classification Web Plus (ClassWeb Plus) provides access to an assortment of widely used information organization standards, resource description manuals, and metadata and cataloging documentation resources. It includes cataloging policy documentation such as Library of Congress Subject Headings, LC Classification, Subject Heading Manual, and MARC Standards. RDA Toolkit

The RDA Toolkit provides guidelines on cataloging resources and places a stronger emphasis on helping users find, identify, select, and obtain the information they want.

If you are accessing RDA Toolkit for the first time, please follow the instructions below. 51 SOIS has a shared account, but each student must create and use their own profile in the system.

To log-in

To log into RDA Toolkit please follow these instructions. We have a shared account, but each student needs to create and use their own profile in the system:

  1. Log into the 51 SOIS account through . After clicking at the link, you will see “University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee, School of Information Studies” in the heading at the upper left.

  1. Once you see “University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee, School of Information Studies” in the heading you can now create your own profile by clicking the person icon with a plus sign.

  1. Create a profile for yourself by filling in the form.

  1. If you need to log in to your profile later, click to access the 51 SOIS account, enter your username and password, then click the Log In icon.

OCLC WorldShare Record Manager

The OCLC WorldShare Record Manager is the successor of OCLC Connexion. It allows students to search, create, and edit bibliographic records as in-progress files that do not affect records in WorldCat. Students can also search and view WorldCat bibliographic records and authority files using WorldShare. For more information, please visit:
