Rent Certificate/Tax Credits – The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee is exempt from paying property taxes, therefore, housing fees paid by the residents of University Housing managed facilities do not qualify for either the Homestead Credit or Renter’s and Homeowner’s Property Tax Credits.
