HARPY logo

HARPY (the Honors Association for Research and Presentation) is a student-led organization dedicated to fostering undergraduate research in the humanities and social sciences. In addition to meeting once weekly to discuss research progress and create a peer support network, HARPY hosts two annual conferences (the fall Monster Conference and the spring BeastFest) and is currently working to create its own undergraduate academic journal and podcast.

For those undergraduates who already have research experience, HARPY provides them an opportunity to mentor other students and connect them to the research process. For those who are completely new to research and are interested in exploring it, HARPY provides them a space to do so. Ultimately, this org fosters a community of passionate, motivated individuals dedicated to exploring ideas together.
