Research Interests
Professor Harris's research projects focus on the sedimentology and sequence stratigraphy of carbonate rocks. His most recent project is a collaborative study of the Upper Ordovician-Lower Silurian facies and sequences in Estonia with Peter Sheehan (Milwaukee Public Museum), Leo Ainsaar (Tartu University), Linda Hints (Tallinn University of Technology), Peep Männik (Tallinn), Tõnu Meidla (Tartu), and Jaak Nõlvak (Tallinn). After a long delay due to administrative work, retirement has allowed Mark to start preparing reports on the project.
