In April,ÌýBrooke Slavens, associate professor, mechanical engineering, hosted 29 MPS students—from Golda Meir—in her Mobility Lab, where she introduced them to the scientific field of biomechanics. The students were on a STEM-related field trip spurred by National Biomechanics Day, a world-wide celebration of biomechanics in its many forms for high school students and teachers. The event was supported by a grant fromÌýThe Biomechanics Initiative, Inc.
