51ÁÔÆæ

The 51ÁÔÆæ campus is home to the highest number of Indigenous American students within the UW System. The financial needs of our students often pose barriers to continuation and completion of higher education. With gratitude to the generosity of Bader Philanthropies the Electa Quinney Institute is able to provide a limited number of annual scholarships.

Undergraduate students are awarded $5,000 a year and accepted students join a cohort (based on classification) while fulfilling requirements in supporting each other and the community while engaging in rigorous research.

For our Graduate students, we provide an award of various amounts to support research that is not otherwise supported by their home programs.

Both scholarships are open to all students with an eye to anyone with a connection to a First Nation (American Indian, Alaska Native, or Native Hawaiian) community.

To Apply

Like (nearly) all scholarships at UW-Milwaukee, both applications are found via the . You will find application requirements and deadlines there.
