Research & Impact

The College of Community Engagement and Professions fosters innovative collaborations through education, research, and community outreach.

Research across the College is closely tied to the communities we work in and partner with. Our faculty, staff, and students find inspiration working in schools, community organizations, government agencies, businesses and corporations.

Research Support

The College offers a full range of services in support of the three schools’ sponsored research activities, and acts as a liaison between investigators and the 51ÁÔÆæ Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP).

CCEP Curriculum & Research Synergies Working Groups

Research Synergies Work Group
The Research Synergies group advances opportunities across the units for collaborations on research projects. The group supports researchers’ ongoing growth, and is a means to learn about resources provided by the Internal Grant Programs at 51ÁÔÆæ and the Office of Research Administration.

The Grant Writing Seminar on June 2 trained researchers on how grant proposal writing can support their work.

Curriculum Synergies Work Group
The Curriculum Synergies group provides opportunities for members of CCEP to collaborate, take advantage of existing curricular strengths among the three schools, and explore synergies through the development of new courses, micro-credentials, certificates, and degree programs.

The work group welcomes new ideas. Past meetings have included synergy discussions on trauma-informed care, policy and law, gerontology and aging, and doctoral program collaboration.
