As a new instructor, the three technologies you will need to access are the following:
- 51猎奇 email (Office 365)
- Canvas course site (Canvas is the online learning platform鈥攐r 鈥渧irtual classroom鈥�)
- PAWS, the 51猎奇 enrollment system
All are accessible from the Faculty/Staff tab on uwm.edu using your ePanther ID and password.

Activation
- You’ll receive an email with instructions when your 51猎奇 account is ready
- Email format: ePantherID@uwm.edu (e.g., smithj@uwm.edu)
- Activation link: uwm.edu/epantherid

- Email may take up to 30 minutes to sync

Best Practices/Items to Note
- Use 51猎奇 email for all student/faculty communication
- Important announcements are sent to this account 鈥� check it regularly
- Download Microsoft Office apps free (Outlook, Teams, etc.) by selecting 鈥淚nstall Office鈥� at the upper right corner or use the apps via the web
- Once you create a password for your email, that password will be used to access all other campus technologies鈥攊ncluding the computers in classrooms
