The Department of Global Studies is delighted to welcome the Arabic<\/a> and Japanese<\/a> programs into the department! With this move, the Arabic minor<\/a>, the Japanese minor<\/a>, and Committee Interdisciplinary Major in Japanese<\/a> become part of the program array within the department, expanding the global focus and cross-cultural connections represented by our teaching and research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We look forward to the expanded programming that these moves will foster, and we could not be more excited to continue to build our collaborative work with colleagues\u00a0Dr. Khuloud Labanieh<\/a>,\u00a0Masako Lackey<\/a>,\u00a0Dr. Fahed Masalkhi<\/a>,\u00a0Dr. Aragorn Quinn<\/a>, and\u00a0Yuko Kojima Wert<\/a>, and to welcome Yuyan (April) Jiang<\/a> as a new instructor of Japanese at 51ÁÔÆæ.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
