When to&nbsp;Declare<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You should&nbsp;declare&nbsp;as soon as you decide to minor in German. Declaring guarantees accurate advising on&nbsp;course selection and gives you preference in our scholarships, including but not limited to awards to study abroad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-2-explore-the-german-minor\">2. Explore the German Minor<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Prospective German Minors should\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/world-languages-cultures\/academics\/german-minor\/#tab-german-requirements\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">read the\u00a0requiremens information<\/a>\u00a0for the minor. If you have questions, you can make an\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:german-program@uwm.edu\">appointment with the German Program advisor<\/a>\u00a0to get more information.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-3-submit-the-declaration-of-minor-form\">3. Initial Advising Appointment to&nbsp;Declare&nbsp;the Minor<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Once your declaration of minor has been processed, the German Program Advisor will reach out to set up your first advising meeting.
