Our tutors are undergraduate students who have already taken and been successful in these courses. They can assist with explanations (in English) and lots of practice activities to give you some support outside of class. They also can help be providing study tips based on their own experiences as language learners. Students in SPA 103, 104, 203, and 204 who attend 3 or more sessions of SSC tutoring over the course of the semester will earn 5 in-class practice points to add to their grade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For more information on this resource, visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/studentsuccess\/tutoring-and-supplemental-instruction\/\">tutoring section of the Student Success Center&#8217;s website.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To submit a request for tutoring, go to&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/studentsuccess\/tutoring-and-supplemental-instruction\/small-group-tutoring\/scheduling-tutoring-appointments-in-navigate360\/\">the SSC&#8217;s tutoring appointments page.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-spanish-conversation-club-n\">Spanish Conversation Club \u00d1<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Want to get more practice speaking in Spanish? Stop by the Spanish program\u2019s conversation club, which we call Club \u00d1.&nbsp;<b>This group is open to students at all levels of Spanish, including beginners.<\/b>&nbsp;You don\u2019t have to be a student in our Spanish classes to attend. We welcome 51ÁÔÆæ faculty\/staff, community members, etc. to&nbsp;join as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is a very informal club\u2014just a place to chat in Spanish with other students or get help with your pronunciation, grammar, etc. Students who attend Club \u00d1 will earn one in-class practice point for each session they attend (up to 10 over the course of the semester).
