He is a Rabbi and scholar who has taught at The Hebrew University, Columbia University, and The Jewish Theological Seminary. For the past 25 years, he has taught at the Spertus Institute for Jewish Learning and Leadership in Chicago, where he lectures on a range of historical and cultural topics.<\/p>\n<p>In this lecture, Dr. Mirelman described the establishment and growth of the Jewish population in Argentina, the seventh largest Jewish community in the world and the largest Jewish community in Latin America.
