When Words and Images Matter: Challenges to our Time

A Conversation with Christiane Taubira & Raoul Peck. 51ÁÔĆć, Oct. 27, 2017

For Former French Minister of Justice Christiane Taubira and award-winning film director and writer Raoul Peck, words and images matter for how they frame and cast the storied that determined and promulgated the systematic inequalities and injustices that divide and challenge our societies today. Their conversation continues the discussion about present day legacies of slavery, racial discrimination, and hegemonic power relations raised by Peck’s documentary, “I Am Not Your Negro.”
