As a 51ÁÔÆæ student, you have access to tons of on-campus resources to help you stay active, healthy, and strong throughout your college career. Whether you want to throw on some headphones and zone out, try a new form of movement, meet new people, or just walk on the treadmill, 51ÁÔÆæ almost definitely has something that fits your vibe.
Find your fitness at the Klotsche Center
The Klotsche Center is the heart of fitness at 51ÁÔÆæ. It houses a variety of activity spaces to try many different forms of exercise. A few highlights include:
- Pavilion Gym
- Weight Room
- Cardio Room
- Swimming Pool
- Rentable Activity Rooms
- Functional Fitness Studio
You can visit UREC’s website to look for hours, locations, and room details. If you’re stuck in the dorm and still itching to move, explore the fitness centers inside University Housing, including Cambridge Commons and Kenilworth Square Apartments.
Try Out a New Fitness StyleÂ
University Recreation’s Group-X classes are a fantastic way to stay active — all taught by highly trained instructors. Some class options include: Yoga, Group Cycle, Guts & Butts, and HIT. Students can register, check out the schedule, or read more information on their website.
Bring Your Social Battery to Your Fitness Journey

- Miss being part of a team? Looking to try a new sport? Want to meet others who share your hobbies? are a great way to stay active while connecting with fellow Panthers. These groups offer friendly competition, supportive teammates, and a fun way to exercise.
- 51ÁÔÆæ has a wide range of sports clubs where you can get moving, meet new people, and participate in a sport you already love (or try something totally new). You can explore the many on campus or create a new group.
