Wisconsin Absentee Voting<\/h1><\/header>\n\n\n

If you are a registered Wisconsin voter, you can request an absentee ballot \u2013 regardless of reason!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  1. Request an absentee ballot \u2013 the request must be received by your municipal clerk no later than 5 PM the Thursday before Election Day.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Absentee ballot mailed to you \u2013 once your municipal clerk processes your request they will mail your absentee ballot to the address specified in your request.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Return your absentee ballot \u2013 the completed ballot must be mailed and received no later than 8 PM Election Day.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    To account for delays in processing and mailing, we recommend requesting an absentee ballot at least 3 weeks before Election Day and mailing your completed ballot at least 1 week before Election Day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Request Absentee Ballot Online<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    You can request an absentee ballot on\u00a0MyVote Wisconsin \u2013 Request an Absentee Ballot<\/a>. If you have not previously provided a photo ID, an\u00a0acceptable photo ID<\/a>\u00a0must accompany your application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Once you have requested an absentee ballot, you can track the status of your request at MyVote Wisconsin \u2013 View My Absentee Request<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section>\n\n\n\n

    Request Absentee Ballot by Mail\/Fax\/Email<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    You can fill out the\u00a0Application for Absentee Ballot (EL-121)<\/a>\u00a0and send the form to\u00a0your municipal clerk<\/a>\u00a0by mail, fax, or email. If you have not previously provided a photo ID, an\u00a0acceptable photo ID<\/a>\u00a0must accompany your application.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section>\n\n\n\n

    Request Absentee Ballot in Person (Early Voting)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    You can vote before election day by requesting an absentee ballot in-person at your municipal clerk\u2019s office or another designated in-person absentee voting location. You will immediately fill out your ballot, seal it, and return it at that location. You will need to bring an\u00a0acceptable photo ID<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
