If space permits we continue to review applications beyond the priority deadline, though funding decisions will have passed. Letters should be from current or former professors who can comment on an applicant\u2019s previous academic performance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Complete the Fellowship and Financial Assistance Information Form.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Submission of a writing sample, although not required for the Master\u2019s degree application, is recommended. Submit written work which demonstrates your ability to do original research and\/or to critically analyze and evaluate the work of others.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Doctoral Degree Program in Urban Studies<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To apply to the Doctoral Degree Program, the applicant needs to the complete the following through the online application system, Panthera:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Complete the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/graduateschool-apply.uwm.edu\/index.cfm?FuseAction=Security.AngLogin\">Graduate School\u2019s Online PhD Application<\/a>\u00a0that includes a reason statement for graduate study, transcript requests, and an application fee.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Using the online application system, identify at least three recommenders to submit letters of recommendation on your behalf.
