Under the direction of the Union Director, Event Services is charged with the enforcement of policies set forth by the Union Policy Board (UPB) in all event spaces. As part of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee’s dedication to shared governance, UPB is comprised of students and faculty, jointly advising in the operational practices of the Student Union. UPB exists in part to formulate and set policies for the operation of the 51ÁÔÆæ Student Union. In addition, UPB works with the Union Director to ensure that the 51ÁÔÆæ Student Union remains the social, cultural and recreational center for the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee students and campus community.
