Below, you&#8217;ll find detailed information about parking permissions and responsibilities for each type of vehicle. To purchase a parking permit, visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.t2hosted.com\/Account\/Portal\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Transportation Services portal<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"default\">Motorcycles and mopeds are only allowed in designated areas. They are not allowed in any circumstances to enter or exit through gated parking areas, including Lubar, NWQ, Pavilion, and Union garages. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"default\">Union Garage has designated motorcycle parking, but <strong>riders parking in Union must walk their motorcycle in via a pedestrian entrance<\/strong>. Under no circumstances are motorcycles allowed to use the automobile entrance and exit; the gate arms are meant to work with a larger motor vehicle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"has-alpha-channel-opacity uwm-c-hr--thick\" \/>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"uwm-l-row uwm-l-row--6\">\n<div class=\"uwm-l-col\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading size-h3\" id=\"h-motorcycle-parking\">Motorcycle Parking<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Designated Motorcycle Areas:<\/strong> Motorcycles must park in designated motorcycle parking areas only. Parking in car stalls, at bicycle racks, or in the Lubar, Pavilion, and Union garages is prohibited. Motorcycles cannot be parked on the grass or other landscaping which borders the posted areas.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Motorcycle Permits:<\/strong> Customers can purchase a permit through the <a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.t2hosted.com\/Account\/Portal\">Transportation Services web portal<\/a>. Ensure the license plate(s) listed on the permit are up to date. License plates are used to verify that a customer has a permit.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Public\/Visitor Parking:<\/strong> Available outside the Northwest Quadrant (NWQ) parking surface lot near Hartford (<a href=\"https:\/\/modii.app\/university-of-wisconsin-milwaukee\/area\/2275?permitId=145&amp;sortBy=az\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">NWQ West Lot<\/a>). Patrons must pay the pay station located outside the parking area, have a valid motorcycle permit, or pay using 59075 using the mobile app.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Motorcycle Trikes:<\/strong> Motorcycle trikes are classified as a car on the 51ÁÔÆæ Campus and are not allowed in motorcycle spaces.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Motorcycle Parking Map:<\/strong> To view a map of available motorcycle spaces on campus, visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/modii.app\/university-of-wisconsin-milwaukee?permitId=145&amp;sortBy=az\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Motorcycle and Moped Parking Map<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"uwm-l-col uwm-u-border-desktop--left\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading size-h3\" id=\"h-moped-parking\">Moped Parking<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Parking Locations:<\/strong> Moped operators can park at any bicycle rack on campus with a moped permit. Mopeds should not drive on sidewalks at any time. Mopeds are not permitted to be parked in car stalls, or in the Lubar, Pavilion, or Union garages.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Moped Permits<\/strong>: Customers can purchase a permit through the <a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.t2hosted.com\/Account\/Portal\">Transportation Services web portal<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Can I park a moped in a motorcycle stall?<\/strong> Mopeds may be parked in motorcycle stalls if the operator purchases a motorcycle permit.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Definition:<\/strong> Mopeds are defined as:\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>motor vehicles incapable of speeds in excess of 30 m.p.h.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the power source is an integral part of the vehicle<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the combustion engine chamber is certified by the manufacturer as not greater than 50 cubic centimeters<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Welcome to the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee&#8217;s parking information page for motorcycles and mopeds.
