You will also need to choose an \u201cauthentication method\u201d to protect your 51ÁÔÆæ accounts; we are all required to verify our identity when we log in.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/information-technology\/digital-id\/mfa-student\/\">More on authentication options here<\/a>: You can download the Microsoft authentication app on your phone or get a verification code sent via text message to your phone number. If you forget your 51ÁÔÆæ password, try to reset it yourself. If you get locked out or didn\u2019t set up password recovery, you will need to call the 51ÁÔÆæ IT Help Desk at 414-229-4040 or submit an\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/technology\/request-support\/\">online request for support<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/canvas\/\">to access Canvas<\/a>&nbsp;(51ÁÔÆæ\u2019s version of Google Classroom)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/\">to access 51ÁÔÆæ email<\/a>&nbsp;(Under \u201cFor Students\u201d tab, choose Office 365, then Choose Outlook)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/paws\">to access PAWS<\/a>&nbsp;(academic records, final grades, etc.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/libraries\/\">to access 51ÁÔÆæ Library<\/a>&nbsp;databases and resources<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/registrar\/dates-deadlines\/\">Important Dates &amp; Deadlines<\/a>&nbsp;(for dropping or withdrawing from the class). Follow the instructions on your 51ÁÔÆæ syllabus for dropping or withdrawing from the class.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/arc\/apply\/#dual-enrollment\">Accessibility Resource Center<\/a>&nbsp;(ARC): Students seeking accommodations must&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/arc\/apply\/#dual-enrollment\">complete this form<\/a>&nbsp;to request accommodations in their 51ÁÔÆæ class. College accommodations sometimes differ from high school. You should submit a request a few weeks before the semester begins to make sure they are in place before you need them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.transferology.com\/login.htm\">Transferology<\/a>: Learn how courses transfer to other colleges and universities. If you don\u2019t see it listed, that means no one has transferred this 51ÁÔÆæ course to that university before. Call the college\/university you plan to attend and ask them; you might need to give them your course syllabus to get transfer credit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.credentials-inc.com\/tplus\/?ALUMTRO003896\">Go here to request&nbsp;<\/a>that 51ÁÔÆæ send your transcripts to another institution. Make sure to submit this request&nbsp;<strong>after<\/strong>&nbsp;your final grade shows up on PAWS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>51ÁÔÆæ Resources<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/technology\/student-resources\/\">Campus Technology (Canvas, ePanther ID, etc.):<\/a>&nbsp;414-229-4040 for the 51ÁÔÆæ IT Help Desk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/studentsuccess\/tutoring-and-supplemental-instruction\/\">51ÁÔÆæ\u2019s Student Success Center offers tutoring and academic skills workshops<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/libraries\/\">51ÁÔÆæ Libraries<\/a>\u2014Need your ePanther ID and password to access all 51ÁÔÆæ Library resources<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/writing-center\/\">51ÁÔÆæ Writing Center<\/a>, 30- or 60-minute one-on-one tutoring sessions (in person or virtual) for any stage in the writing process<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/transportation\/upass\/\">51ÁÔÆæ Bus Pass (called U-Pass<\/a>) is available to purchase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/retailservices\/panthercard\/\">51ÁÔÆæ Panther ID Card<\/a>: Not required, but you can upload a selfie and get a 51ÁÔÆæ Panther ID card for $20.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/deanofstudents\/\">Office of Dean of Students<\/a>&nbsp;for questions about resources on and off campus<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>51ÁÔÆæ Events, Workshops, and Opportunities while you are a 51ÁÔÆæ High School Student<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/events\/\">Calendar of Campus Events<\/a>. 51ÁÔÆæ has lots of workshops, speakers, concerts, and events to meet the interests of all students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/set\/\">Center for Student Experience and Talent<\/a>: apps, surveys, and workshops to help you choose a major\/career, create a resume, find internships.
