In the coaching offered in the SSC, our staff works with students to:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"uwm-l-row\">\n<div class=\"uwm-l-col\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li> <em>increase\u202f<strong>self-motivation<\/strong><\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>increase\u202f<strong>self-efficacy<\/strong><\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li> <em>establish improved behaviors of\u202f<strong>interdependence<\/strong><\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>increase\u202f<strong>self-awareness<\/strong><\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>expand\u202fopportunities for\u202f<strong>learning<\/strong><\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"uwm-l-col\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>foster\u202f<strong>creative<\/strong>,\u202f<strong>critical thinking<\/strong>,\u202f&amp;\u202f<strong>problem-solving<\/strong>\u202fskills essential for the classroom and beyond 51ÁÔÆæ<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>develop skills focused on supporting\u202f<strong>academic\u202fskills<\/strong>,\u202f<strong>financial management<\/strong>,\u202f<strong>professional\/leadership development<\/strong>, and\u202f<strong>major\u202fexploration<\/strong><\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>alleviate effects of\u202f<strong>institutional roadblocks<\/strong><\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Our center provides holistic coaching support for five (5) student-facing identified programs known as: Fostering Success, Fund for Wisconsin Scholars, MKE Scholars, Nadella Scholars, and Smart Start (joint efforts with 51ÁÔÆæ Multicultural offices).
