Practice. Succeed.  <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Student Success Center&#8217;s Supplemental Instruction (SI) program provides <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">FREE<\/span><\/strong>, course-specific, peer-facilitated group study sessions that are developed to improve retention and academic success for students enrolled in challenging or historically &#8220;high risk&#8221; courses. SI is a non-remedial approach to learning that supports students by integrating \u201cwhat to learn\u201d with \u201chow to learn.\u201d&nbsp;SI sessions are held 3-4 times per week throughout the semester by a Supplemental Instruction Leader. Leaders are successful students who have already mastered the course material. Supplemental Instruction sessions are designed to be an interactive way to learn the course material through group activities, discussions, and even games! They cannot do a homework assignment for you, nor are they able to substitute for attending lectures.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You are expected to come to the Supplemental Instruction session with your course materials and be ready to focus on the subject matter. Please be respectful and engaged with the session, put away smart phones, etc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Supplemental Instruction Leaders are here for you. If you have specific questions that you want answered or concerns about the material, let the Supplemental Instruction Leader know!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Use of Services<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You must currently be <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">enrolled for credit<\/span> in the course for which you want to attend Supplemental Instruction. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students may participate in Supplemental Instruction multiple times a week for the same course if they wish (this includes exam review sessions).
