Renewal registration opens on August 1, 2025. The final day to initiate the renewal process is September 18, 2025.<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"uwm-l-row\">\n<div class=\"uwm-l-col\">\n<p>Renewal is the process for continuing Registered Student Organizations (RSOs) to re-register for the upcoming academic year. This process ensures that all RSOs maintain their active status and stay eligible for institutional benefits and resources. By completing the renewal, RSOs can continue hosting events, accessing funding opportunities, and utilizing campus facilities. Follow the steps below to renew.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"uwm-l-col uwm-l-col--4 uwm-l-offset--1\"><div class=\"uwm-block-otp-nav \"><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"uwm-c-list--sequence\">\n<li><div class=\"uwm-c-list--content-wrap\"><h2>Update Your Organization Information<\/h2>\n<ul id=\"block-ad8473a8-14a9-463c-930f-6b1c879e4bc3\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>One officer must update officer, roster and organization Information using <a href=\"http:\/\/pantherorgs.uwm.edu\">PantherOrgs<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To complete this step, the student officer must have organization administrator status for the organization.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To begin the renewal registration process log into <a href=\"http:\/\/PantherOrgs.uwm.edu\">PantherOrgs.uwm.edu<\/a> and navigate to your organization and enter your portal. From there, you should see either a button to re-register your organization or land directly on the re-registration form. Fill out all pages of the form and submit it.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><div class=\"uwm-c-list--content-wrap\"><h2>Attend Training<\/h2>\n<ul id=\"block-970c7a8e-86cb-4161-b1c9-de5a982b6ce5\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Each Officer must complete the \u201cOrganization Registration and Officer Training\u201d module in Canvas named <a href=\"https:\/\/uws-td.instructure.com\/enroll\/N7FMT4\">Student Organization Training 2025-26<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Go through the Officer Training Module in detail, take the Officer Training Quiz at the end of the module and get an 80% to complete your officer training requirements. [Note: If the organization needs to do a make up for SOCN, the minimum score need for each officer will be 90%.]<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><div class=\"uwm-c-list--content-wrap\"><h2>Complete Contracts<\/h2>\n<p>Each of the 4 primary officers must complete and submit an individual&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/cglink.me\/2iq\/s22\">Officer Contract<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;in order to be considered eligible for officer status.&nbsp; In addition, the organization\u2019s Faculty\/Staff Advisor must complete and submit an&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/cglink.me\/2iq\/s31\">Advisor Contract<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><div class=\"uwm-c-list--content-wrap\"><h2>Attend Student Organization Conference Night<\/h2>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Attend&nbsp;Student Organization Conference Night (SOCN)\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Thursday, September 18, 2025,&nbsp;Student Union (Wisconsin Room on the 2nd&nbsp;floor)&nbsp;4:00-7:00PM<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Optional Resource Fair 3:30-4:00PM<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Optional SAC Grant Training 7:00-8:00pm&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>As attending is a required step in the Org Renewal process, your organization must identify at least one officer to attend this in-person event for the entire required portion (4:00-7:00pm). The event includes organization support info tables, workshops, and opportunities to meet with your organization liaison.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Please follow the link to the&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/cglink.me\/2iq\/s57\">Student Organization Conference Night (SOCN) RSVP&nbsp;<\/a><\/strong>Form.&nbsp;We need to know the name(s) of Student Org Officer(s) attending and which organization(s) they are representing.&nbsp;<strong>Please complete this form by noon on Wednesday, September 1<\/strong>7. If you submit later than this day, there may be a delay in your organization being renewed. If none of your organization officers can attend, you will have a chance to provide additional information to help us understand the issue.&nbsp;<em><strong>Note: Filling out this form is the ONLY way to access information about the make-up requirements that will be offered later in September.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-additional-information\">Additional Information<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"uwm-p-card-grid uwm-l-grid uwm-l-grid--equal-y uwm-l-grid--2\">\n<div class=\"uwm-p-card uwm-u-mb-40\"><div class=\"uwm-p-card--body\"><div class=\"uwm-p-card--title\"><strong>Where is My Org in the Renewal Process?<\/strong><\/div><div class=\"uwm-p-card--content\">The PantherOrgs system will display a checklist within your organization&#8217;s portal that will show what items have been completed and which items have yet to be completed in the Renewal Registration process.<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"uwm-p-card uwm-u-mb-40\"><div class=\"uwm-p-card--body\"><div class=\"uwm-p-card--title\"><strong><strong>What Could Hold My Org Back from Getting Renewed?<\/strong><\/strong><\/div><div class=\"uwm-p-card--content\">Data Errors: Be sure you have entered each officer\u2019s name, email and phone number correctly. Simple errors cause delays.<br><br>Debt: Chances are your RSO\u00a0does not\u00a0have debt, but all organization debt must be resolved before an organization can renew.<br><br>Name Changes: If you try to alter your Registered Student Organization\u2019s (RSO) name when updating your Organization Profile, this will complicate your progress through Renewal. If your RSO wants to change its official name, please contact Student Involvement at\u00a0csidesk@uwm.edu.<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"uwm-p-card uwm-u-mb-40\"><div class=\"uwm-p-card--body\"><div class=\"uwm-p-card--title\"><strong>Timeline<\/strong>s<\/div><div class=\"uwm-p-card--content\">The following timeline has been established to guide organization through the renewal process in a timely manner. Your organization officers should do there best to at least keep up with the timeline. Ideally, the renewal process could be completed weeks before the deadline.<br><br>August 1: Renewal Begins<br>September 10: First Priority Renewal, Involvement Fair<br>September 18: Last day to start renewal (submit Renewal Registration form)<br>September 18: Student Organization Conference Night<br>September 25: Renewal ends at 12:00pm<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"uwm-p-card uwm-u-mb-40\"><div class=\"uwm-p-card--body\"><div class=\"uwm-p-card--title\"><a href=\"https:\/\/cglink.me\/2iq\/s1\">Tools<\/a><\/div><div class=\"uwm-p-card--content\"><br><strong>Renewal Self Tracking for Student Organizations<\/strong>:\u00a0Organization officers can work together to track the organization renewal status at any time. In PantherOrgs, there will be a checklist in your organization portal that will show what has been completed and what has yet to be completed for the Renewal Registration process.<br><br>An organization that previously operated at 51ÁÔÆæ but is now inactive must apply with Student Involvement to reactivate the group.\u00a0\u00a0This involves the same steps as updating your Organization Registration. However, the students who want to reactivate the inactive organization may want to obtain copies of any governing documents, previous organization paperwork, or other important documents from Student Involvement. New and inactive organizations should use the Organization Registration Process\u00a0to register their organization.
