    In this class, we will be exploring intaglio printmaking by making and printing drypoint PVC plates. Learn to bevel a plate, set a press, and experiment with ways to customize a print. This workshop is great for anyone who loves to draw and is curious about printmaking. No experience is necessary!

    Lyrical Sanctuary Featuring Derrick Harriell

    Derrick Harriell聽is the Interim Director of the Black Student Cultural Center and Professor of English at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. His聽previous聽collections of poems include聽Stripper in Wonderland,聽Come Kingdom,聽Cotton, and聽Ropes, winner of the 2014 Mississippi Institute of Arts and Letters Poetry Book Award. His short story, 鈥淭here鈥檚 a Riot Goin鈥� On,鈥� was the recipient of the Robert L. Fish Memorial Award. He holds an MFA from Chicago State University and a Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. His forthcoming coauthored book with celebrated rapper 2 Chainz,聽The Voice in My Head is God, will be published in March 2026.聽
