The First Year Program in Art and Design at 51ÁÔÆæ’s Peck School of the Arts has a long history of helping students develop as creative thinkers and prepare them to move forward in their chosen paths. This first year is a time of significant artistic and personal development, when students choose their focus areas and start to see themselves as emerging professionals in their fields. The Union Art Gallery’s First Year Exhibition offers these students a platform to present the work they’ve produced during this pivotal stage of their growth.
