A recent publication by Assistant Professor Gordon Gauchat<\/strong> is receiving attention in the press. Washington Post’s Chris Mooney’s article “This is where distrust of science really comes from \u2014 and it\u2019s not just your politics”<\/em><\/a> includes Gauchat’s sociological research.<\/p>\n

Gauchat’s new paper of which the Washington Post is referring is “The Political Context of Science in the United States: Public Acceptance of Evidence-Based Policy and Science Funding.”<\/a> It was published this year in the journal Social Forces<\/em> by Oxford University Press. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
