Partnerships provide services to some of the state&#8217;s most underserved populations.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"uwm-l-col uwm-l-col--4 uwm-l-offset--1\"><div class=\"content_block\" id=\"custom_post_widget-1336\"><nav aria-label=\"Sidebar\" class=\"uwm-p-navigation-list uwm-p-navigation-list--gold-border \"><div class=\"uwm-p-navigation-list--title\"><a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/socialwelfare\/community-engagement\/\">Community Engagement<\/a><\/div><ul><li><a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/socialwelfare\/community-engagement\/alumni\/\">Alumni<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/socialwelfare\/community-engagement\/professional-development\/\">Professional Development<\/a><\/li><li><a class=\"current\" href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/socialwelfare\/community-engagement\/partnerships-collaborations\/\"><span aria-current=\"page\">Partnerships &amp; Collaborations<\/span><\/a><ul><li><a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/socialwelfare\/community-engagement\/partnerships-collaborations\/child-welfare-training-program\/\">Child Welfare Training Program<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/socialwelfare\/community-engagement\/partnerships-collaborations\/training-for-adoption-competency\/\">Training for Adoption Competency (TAC)<\/a><\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><\/nav><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/section>\n\n\n\n<section class=\"uwm-bg-gray uwm-u-py-80\"><div class=\"uwm-l-container--base uwm-l-container--overflow-hidden\">\n<div class=\"uwm-p-card-grid uwm-l-grid uwm-l-grid--equal-y uwm-l-grid--3\">\n<div class=\"uwm-p-card uwm-u-mb-40 uwm-p-card--shadow uwm-p-card--gold\"><div class=\"uwm-p-card--body\"><div class=\"uwm-p-card--title\"><a href=\"https:\/\/wcwpds.wisc.edu\/\">Wisconsin Child Welfare Professional Development System<\/a><\/div><div class=\"uwm-p-card--content\">The Wisconsin Child Welfare Professional Development System (WCWPDS) provides training and professional development to child welfare social workers in Milwaukee County, foster and adoptive families, home visitors and early childhood professionals, and congregate care staff statewide. <br><br>HBSSW faculty provide program oversight and consult on instruction and evaluation.<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"uwm-p-card uwm-u-mb-40 uwm-p-card--shadow uwm-p-card--gold\"><div class=\"uwm-p-card--body\"><div class=\"uwm-p-card--title\"><a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/socialwelfare\/community\/partnerships-collaborations\/child-welfare-training-program\/\">Child Welfare Training Program<\/a><\/div><div class=\"uwm-p-card--content\">The Title IV-E Public Child Welfare Training Program (CWTP) supports students who have career interests in child welfare. The program promotes the professional development of current and future leaders, supervisors and managers in child welfare, while providing financial assistance to students in return for employment with IV-E-eligible child welfare organizations in Milwaukee and surrounding counties.<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"uwm-p-card uwm-u-mb-40 uwm-p-card--shadow uwm-p-card--gold\"><div class=\"uwm-p-card--body\"><div class=\"uwm-p-card--title\"><a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/socialwelfare\/community\/partnerships-collaborations\/training-for-adoption-competency\/\">Training for Adoption Competency<\/a><\/div><div class=\"uwm-p-card--content\">The Training for Adoption Competency Program (TAC) is based on defined competencies and designed to enhance the skills of professionals working with adoptees and their families.
