The Accelerated Graduate Degree in Criminal Justice and Criminology provides high-achieving students the option of an accelerated program. Students establish their career potential early and graduate ready to launch a career in criminal justice.

In this program, students earn their bachelor’s and master’s degrees at the same time. Students complete three years of undergraduate study and two years of graduate study. The program takes five years and offers an efficient way to complete both degrees.
Students receive opportunities for real-world growth experiences. Dedicated faculty and staff are eager to share their knowledge and experience with students.

- A GPA of 3.0 on all high school work.
- No math or English deficiencies.
- Admitted in good standing to 51ÁÔÆæ.
- A one- to two-page statement explaining the student’s interest in a particular field of study. Include reasons for wanting to enter an accelerated program.
- Two letters of recommendation from high school teachers or counselors. Letters should affirm the student’s maturity and suitability for an accelerated program.
Requirements for Current 51ÁÔÆæ and Transfer Students
.51ÁÔÆæ or transfer students will need to:
- Apply to the Accelerated Graduate Degree in Criminal Justice & Criminology
- Apply to the by the second semester of junior year in order to register for graduate classes.
- If students apply after junior standing, it may take longer to complete the accelerated program.
Requirements for current 51ÁÔÆæ and transfer students include:
