SUMMARY:Make a Difference Day
DESCRIPTION:This is a city-wide volunteer event where volunteers help older adults in the community prepare their yards and neighborhood for spring! \nYou can sign up as an individual or with a team. Individuals will be grouped as a team before being sent out to do service. The event goes from 9am until approximately 1pm (depending on how quickly you finish your volunteer project). Enjoy free pizza once you finish with friends! \nThis event is open to everyone! DESCRIPTION:Your attendance will help us elevate the profile of 51ÁÔÆæ’s experiential learning opportunities and celebrate the students who are sharing the results of that learning. This semester will include student panel discussions\, poster presentations\, and video presentations. The Spring 2026 Showcase will also feature a first faculty-community partner talk.
