  2. Approval of the October 2025 meeting minutes \u2013 approved by automatic consent<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Guest:  Aaron Haselhorst<\/a>, Assistant Director of Athletics \u2013 Sports Medicine\n
      \n
    1. Oversees 5 athletic trainers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Athletic Trainers have a unique piece of healthcare, first evaluation of injury, refer to doctors as needed, lead them through rehab, watch them return to play.  Build strong relationships over the 4 years of their career.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Aaron has been in the profession for 20 years, profession has changed a lot during that time.  Used to only handle injuries, now 60% of what they work with is not injuries, it\u2019s prevention to provide better healthcare. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. They are the main liaison to all health care.  Chiropractor, OHOW-orthopedics, physical therapist on campus twice a week to work with surgical cases, General Medicine \u2013 former swimmer Dr. Jeremy Waldhart.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    5. Sports Medicine works closely with our Academic staff during concussion protocol to communicate with faculty on return to learning.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    6. Updates from the Athletic Department:\n
        \n
      1. Report from Director of Athletics, Amanda Braun\n
          \n
        • Busiest time of the year.  Big overlap of Fall and Winter sports with lots of home events.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Cross Country wrapped up their season last weekend.  Highlight was Annalise Egge finishing 2nd<\/sup>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Women\u2019s soccer are regular season champions.  Conference tournament is this week.  We are home on Thursday at 1 PM in the first semi-final tomorrow.  If we win, we will play on Saturday at 1 PM in the final.  The winner goes on to the NCAA tournament.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Men\u2019s soccer finished 4th<\/sup> and earned the 4-seed playing on Sunday at home at 1 PM in a quarter-final game.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Volleyball is home this weekend  Friday and Saturday.  They have 2 more weeks of regular season.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Swimming had 2 home events last weekend, lots of young talent on both teams.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Basketball kicked off on Monday with home games for both the men and women.  Men won in a nailbiter, and women lost by 4.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Baseball \u2013 former Panther Daulton Varsho is the starting center fielder for the Blue Jays.  Exciting run in the World Series.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • GSR \u2013 we are excelling.\u00a0 APR-all our programs meet the minimum.\u00a0 Student-athletes are accomplishing a lot in the classroom and care a deep amount about their education.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Julie Roe Lach, Commissioner of the Horizon League, has taken a new role and finishes at the end of December. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Chris Roche, major gifts officer, is moving on to Messmer HS to work in their advancement office.  Still discussing the timing of the search.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Panther Arena \u2013 historic preservation building site, needs to go to the city council for a full vote. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n

          1. MKE SAAC  & Horizon League SAAC \u2013 Belle Roloff, Savannah Sievert, Zach Schmidt, Josie Johnson and Bella Lipski\n

            1. Belle reported
              1. Beach clean-up occurred at Bradley and McKinley Arena.  Had reps from each team participate.<\/li><\/ol><\/li>\n\n\n\n
              2. November meeting will be held with Green Bandana, student-athlete mental health advocates.  SHAW Peer Health Advocates will present on Sleep Strategies tonight at 7 PM.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
