Parks<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol style=\"list-style-type:upper-roman\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Call to Order-The meeting was called to order at 8:03 a.m.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Approval of September 9, 2025 Minutes-The minutes were approved as submitted via auto consent<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Chair update-G. Dukes updated the committee on several items\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 1.125rem;color: initial\">The Chancellor is having a Thankful Thursday event to thank faculty and staff for their hard work on October 16 at the Gasthaus in the Union.&nbsp;Open Enrollment for Benefits sign up for 2026 is open until the end of October.&nbsp; Everyone is encouraged to fill out their forms as soon as possible.&nbsp; If you have questions, there are open sessions and emails on the Human Resources website.<\/span> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Chair Dukes will be reaching out to those who are out on medical leave to remind them that we are thinking of them.&nbsp; She has also reached out to S. Yasaitis\u2019 widow to see how she is doing.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Member reports\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>International Committee (IC)- K. Valerius is the member to the committee.&nbsp; The committee has met once and will meet over the year and as business arises.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>New\/Other Business\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>L. Eastman asked if there are any concerns that she can submit on behalf of the committee to the upcoming guests of the Senate.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>R. Oehler-FAA visit to the Senate-&nbsp; How can staffing shortages be addressed particularly in Mail Services?&nbsp; Concerns were raised on timeliness of deliveries, perishable items could be at risk along with live items for lab research.  How will morale be addressed?&nbsp; How are staffing shortages being addressed?&nbsp; How are staffing issues going to affect snow removal this winter?&nbsp; Continued concerns of treatment of staff were discussed by the committee.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>There was no other business.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>VI.
