upcoming faculty retirements.<br><br>A motion was made and seconded to approve the inactivation of this program.&nbsp; Motion passed unanimously.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Atmospheric Science, Translation, MA: French and Francophone Language, Literature, and Culture, the faculty have chosen to inactivate this accelerated degree.&nbsp; There are no students in the program.&nbsp; Future students with these interests may choose the French, BA \/ Translation and Interpreting, MA or pursue a BA and MA without acceleration.<br><br>A motion was made and seconded to approve the inactivation of this program.&nbsp; Motion passed unanimously.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Language, Literature, and Translation, MA: Comparative Literature<\/strong><br>The faculty have voted to inactivate this concentration.&nbsp; There is one student in the program.&nbsp; Teachout plan: The course offerings needed will be continued.&nbsp; The program is flexible enough for the student to complete the coursework they need.<br><br>A motion was made and seconded to approve the inactivation of this program.&nbsp; Motion passed unanimously.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Language, Literature, and Translation, MA: Interpreting<\/strong><br>The program faculty have voted to inactivate the concentration.&nbsp; There are no students in this concentration.&nbsp; Students with interests in interpreting can pursue the MA in Translation and Interpreting Studies.<br><br>A motion was made and seconded to approve the inactivation of this program.&nbsp; Motion passed unanimously.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Language, Literature, and Translation, MA: Linguistics<\/strong><br>The MALLT faculty have voted to inactivate the concentration.&nbsp; There is only one student in the concentration, which is a secondary concentration.&nbsp; There is a standalone Linguistics, MA.&nbsp; The MA will continue to exist but is being modified.&nbsp; Teach-out plan: All the courses required for the degree will continue to be offered.<br><br>A motion was made and seconded to approve the inactivation of this program.&nbsp; Motion passed unanimously.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Language, Literature, and Translation, MA: Standard Concentrations<\/strong><br>The CIM page is not actually a program but is shared information for several of the concentrations in this MA.&nbsp; Some information on the page is not needed for the remaining concentrations since the designation of \u2018standard\u2019 or other will not apply.&nbsp; The
